I am looking for a book written sometime in the 1980's. The book was fiction.

The novel was a mystery. The plot was about a Secret Club that was composed of the 4 or 5 leading industries in the United States. This club was going to take over the American Government.

I do not remember title or author.

Can you identify this book??

Thank you,

I have recently purchased from an antique dealer, a table top broiler made by Broil King. I can't find anything about it. It was manufactured by International Appliance Corp. of New York. It looks to be 40s-50s vintage. It has a cloth cord and a high and low power setting. The power goes from high to low just by disconnecting the power cord and turning it over and reconnecting it. This broiler is in almost new condition, with minimal use, and has the owner's manual. The electric cord is in pristine condition. The handles appear to be made of bakelite. Do you know of this product and if so, what can you tell me about it? Thanks. Rick

This page is very helpful. I am doing an era report on the 1920's and need to find out the top bestsellers. Yeah, and I look on another website and it had WAY TOO MANY! Anyway, Team Edward RULES!

I am absolutely going to read this book. Great review.

Another excellent story about Native Americans is Creek Mary's Blood by Dee Brown. It was published about 30 years ago. I'll bet you'd enjoy it, too.

Dohanos is best known for his Magazine cover art and Advertising art. However, he did murals and other artwork during his career. It would be very possible to have a painting that he did that doesn't look like a Cover for a magazine or an advertisement. If you are wondering about authenticity or value, you really should take it to an Art Dealer or museum for their help in determining those things.

I have a painting that has his signature on it. It is not the typical Sat. Eve post-like illustrations but an oil painting of a harbor. Do you have any info on him doing those types of artwork?
